Founded in 2004, The Upstate Church is a young, thriving, energetic church with a mission to reach out to the people and share the message of the Gospel that God loves all people, no matter your age, gender, race, sexual orientation or religious affiliation.

Our mission is simple — to care for our church family and to reach out to and care for our community. We seek to spread the message that God loves you for who you are, and just as important, so do we.

The Upstate Church is proud to be part of Metropolitan Community Churches, a worldwide denomination of Christian Churches who believe in God’s inclusive love is without restrictions.  No matter your race, gender, sexual orientation etc. you are welcome at an MCC anywhere in the world. Founded in 1968 the denomination has grown to over 200 churches around the world.  We are proud to be part of a movement that proclaims Christ’s love for you, no matter who you are.
